Gold Coast wor!! Days 4 and 5...

About a month plus ago... which is like ages ago, I've been to Gold Coast, Australia... hehe... again, sry for such a late post... I've been so so so so so busy la... aiz~ anw, I'll try my best to update as frequently as I can la.. hehe...
On day 4, Chia Yee brought me to the city hall's clock tower which is about 155m high o... vy high hor?

Then, we came down the clock tower and went to Krispy Kreme to buy.........
Doughtnuts!! delicious doughnuts that looks really fattening...
And it's so expensive that it hurts when I wanna eat it... haha... Juz kidding! =P
After the city hall clock tower, Chia Yee brought me on a train ride to Gold Coast's Harbour town... I think it's called Harbour town la... hehe... It's a place to shop til u drop! but reli hot that day as u can see here...
After that, we took a bus down to the city area... had a Subway sandwich! foot long wor... hehe... not INCH long... XD

After the beach, we did smthg illegal... hehe... we go against a 'no entry' road lei....
Finally we reached this shop... went in to take a look... haha... aiya~ I know i sua gu (country bumpkin)
At night, we had dinner back in the city... we had korean food~ this is Kim Chi Soup...
The next day.... 5th day.... we went to Movie World!! yay! haha... this is Stanley's Place in the day... nice eh?
Took a train from South Brisbane station... the station looks reli traditional...
After bout 1 hour or so, we reached~ Warner Bros.' Movie World!! haha...

This is the ticket... use kids' price to go in de lei... haha... not cuz I look like a kid... but it's cuz they use their dunno dunno wat to purchase the ticket lo... got discounted price... haha...
Inside MW got lotsa stuffs which include Batmobile! kid's size...
Also got Green Lantern and the Flash with Eric in the middle...
Got thrill rides like this, which..... erm...
Makes u wanna grab on to it as tight as u can... hehe...
They also got a bunch of Superman-wanna-bes... haha... no one wear underware on the outside... so, first test fail~~ -_-||

Summer holiday in Brisbane! Day 2...

Day by day blog reli wil wear me out lo... aiks~ but I hav no choice... took too many photos dy... -_-|| anw, let's continue with day 2 yea... hehe... that day ar... I rmb I went to University of Queensland, parts of the city and Sunnybank... haha... here goes....
This is taken on the 3rd day actually... haha... cuz 2nd day sat bus.. so, did not get to take photo with this... well, welcome to University of Queensland St. Lucia campus! haha...
This is the first year engineers' lounge.... that's the place whr they eat, sleep, play, watch tv, chill out la... haha...
Next is this... I'm sure some of u had alrdy seen this in some of my friends' blogs... Steele building, which houses the faculty of pharmacy... Scientia ac Labore is the uni's motto, which means Through knowledge and hard work... haha...
And here is at the other side of Steele building la... I'm juz there... see me?
The great court izit? 4got the name dy... haha... but this big field is enclosed in a big big building la... right in the middle... nice place for picnic... hehe...
Walk walk a bit, we see this... the purple-flowered tree... it's called the 'exam tree' by locals... its real name is Jacaranda... why izit called the exam tree? it's cuz the flowers wil start to bloom near exams... in Queensland, when it starts to bloom, u'll hav to start to study for the exams and if a flower drops on ur head, u'll fail the exams lo... in Sydney, when the flower starts to bloom, it's too late to start studying dy... haha... but in Pretoria, South Africa, u'll pass ur exams if the flower drops on ur head... imagine students standing under the tree waiting for the flowers to drop on their head instead of studying... -_-|| haha...
This is the university's main refectory... a refectory is a place whr ppl hav their meals o... normally in schools, monasteries and colleges...
No, this is not yellow Jacarandas... this is juz a random pic which I think is nice... so, I took it la.. haha...
Other than Jacarandas and students, which both are all over the uni, there are also plenty of iguanas... Godzilla's nearby...... hahaha...
Next stop! UQ art museum...

This here is juz opposite the art museum... the Law school.... frankly speakin, I like the bricks used to build the buildings... givs me a vy vy "gigantic" feel...
Next thing, we took a bus to the city... this here is the underground bus interchange... fully air-conditioned! juz wat we needed tat time..... haha...
Took a bus to a park which i 4got the name... -_-|| anw, this is me and the giraffe...

After that, we took a bus to Riverside... This bridge is Story Bridge... I WON'T 4get the name de la... haha... smone ar... keeeeeep on mentioning it... aiks~ hehe...
Then we continue walk ard la... another failed attempt for a sexy pose... aiks~
Behind me is a steamship... it's made into a floating restaurant, I think.... juz like a restaurant in Johor Bahru (capital city of Johor)... I think the name's Eden's Garden... haha...
Then, we walked pass Botanical Gardens to the Queensland University of Technology, QUT! haha... it's a feat lo according to Chia Yee... cuz it's reli reli far away la...
Near the uni, there's this... this is called Goodwill bridge...
Then we went to the casino... oh no, dun misunderstand me la... haha... I juz found it strange that they hav this in the toilet of the casino... I mean it's a casino and not a hotel... can do it there mie?? aiks~ aftr that only I know what's the meaning of "anywhere, anytime (anyhow...??!)"
And here it is la... the round round moon on the 15th of the Lunar Calendar... haha... btw, this is Sunnybank... had Taiwanese food there... then, back we went to sleep... haha...
