Hey hey!!! I'm back~ haha... if u think tat i've neglected my blog, so sorry to say that u're wrong!! actually i've been quite busy recently... but now kinda free alrdy la... exams juz finish mar~ =P these few days kinda cold wor... well, colder than last few months la... smore last nite got hail storm... first time lei.. haha..

Anw, 2day, i'm gonna show u all wat the people in International House have been up to... anw, International House is another fully catered hall of residence... yeps~ Pik Khee and Ipin stay there lo... not Ayah Pin's junior ar... haha... (for those who dunno, Ayah Pin is a cult leader banned by the government of Malaysia)... he's Qamarul... we juz call him Ipin... anyways, enjoy these pictures ya~~ hehe...

Exam fever!!

They got World Cup fever, rugby fever, high fever and Dengue fever... so, there muz b exam fever too... aiya~ too stress alrdy... anw, this comin tuesday is my first day of my finals for first semester!! -_-||| but gonna end on the 24th of June... hehe... after that then merdeka (independence) dy la!!

Over the last one week, i actually studied a lot... but then i relaxed a bit too... what did i do last week?? well, stil rmb i wanted to go to the music concert performed by school of music students?? hehe... i finally got the chance to on Monday and Thursday... it was actually an assessment concert...

This is the place la... the Music Theatre in the school of music... that's a Steinway & Sons grand piano... now, let's take a look around the music theatre.....
Nope, this is not the stage... it's juz the back of the theatre... dunno y got curtain oso la... haha..
The side view from where i'm sitting... it's actually like a lecture theatre la.. cuz there are foldable tables... hehe... and the balcony-like platform shud b for orchestraic performances la... u noe there're some instruments they no space to put one ar... they can put up there la.. haha.. if not, mayb it's for VIP one lo...

The people (music students) preparing for the performances... there were violins, viola, harp, flute, clarinet, piano (obviously), cellos and even double basses!! haha... seriously enjoyed it lots lo!! they're juz so pro, man...
But.... stil nid to go back to study la... haha... juz look at the pile of books there.. proves that i got study one hor~~ hehe...

Year 4 ECE Power Electronics Annual Electric Toy-car Race

Yesterday I was in a big big dilemma!! haha... why?? cuz there were two events that i wanna attend!! aiz... first one is lunch time concert by the school of music students in the music theatre and the next one is the annual Power Electronis electric toy-car race... btw, ECE is actually Electrical and Computing Engineering (ECE)... hehe... well, i'm sure everyone knows which event i went to la hor?? haha... if u dunno, then reli dunno wat to say la~~ aiz... hehe... well, first of all, the competition consists of 8 groups la... sponsored by Fisher & Paykel (an electric appliances company) and it was carried out in the Engineering Atrium... hehe...
This is called the Velodrome... a 13 m track.... they'll race here... what i heard was each group has three tries and each try is to be raced in 3 laps...
This is the track... the black lines are actually wires emitting high frequency waves... the catch here is to build some kinda electronic device to pick up the frequency and then convert it into current to power the car... in other words, if u run out of the track, u won be able to get any power lo~ haha... and no batteries used to power the cars...
The device pointed by a green arrow was the machine generating the waves... haha.. dunno wat izit called la... hehe...
These are the cars la... hehe.. everyone has the same model.. These are Ford Focus... the one that Colin Mcrae used for his race... Mcrae is a famous rally racer la... haha...
Test drive... hehe... this car seems fast round the corner wor~ but then this is not as fast and heong (wreckless) as Choon Seng la... haha!! refer to this post for further details...
There were good drivers but this one here is like wanna go long piak (bang wall) one la... haha!!
Some contestants facing some technical problems... yeps~ this one here the problem i think is the connection to the power pick-up and regulator not strong enough... at last the problem was corrected lo~ hehe...
Car fixed... they were lucky nothing serious cropped up wor~ if not, surely vy am dui (disappointed) one lo...
Ok... here's the format of the race... each team (two teams per trial) wil begin on opposite sides... they'll race each other for 3 laps... see who's faster... another way of winning is u get to chase ur opponent and bang on its backside before the 3 laps end... there'll be three races (or trials) all together...

This was the winner la!! haha.. they received i think NZD 130 from Fisher & Paykel Appliances and also a trophy~~ nice lei?? hehe...
Since this was an assessment, the top four groups get to race the sponsors' Subaru Impreza to get an additional mark for their assessment... hehe... the blue car's the Subaru... chio (nice) lei??
It was quite a fast car too... haha... even on the straight lane, it made itslf so blur on my super-fast camera!! *yea, right*.... =P Well, basically that's it for today la... haha... nth much fun anw... but then i skipped my lunch juz to watch this lo... and i squat down til my legs aching ar~~ sacrifice.....
