Summer holiday in Brisbane! Day 1...

Hello everyone! haha... first of all, gotta tell evryone that I'm gonna scrap the big project I've been planning all along cuz I think that it's kinda boring la... hehe... but the gud news is I'm gonna write about the thgs I've done in Australia for one whole week... haha... cool eh? no, actually it's vy hot there *lame*... -_-|| ok, enough crap...

I went to Brisbane, Australia on the 12th of Nov - 6 days aftr my last paper... haha... stayed there till 19th Nov and then flew back to Malaysia!! yeps~
I took the Royal Brunei Airlines to Brisbane International Airport... had lunch onboard and to b frank, the stewardess that served me was not reli gud in her English la but who cares... she can see can alrdy la... XD oops~
3 hours plus later... haha... yes! I manage to get thru customs... took the air train down to the city myslf and met Chia Yee in Toowong train station...
The train vy special cuz the door u have to open urslf... if u first time there, u may miss the train cuz of this... haha...
After like bout dunno how long (I 4get dy), I reached Brisbane city! hehe... put my bags and went out for lunch in Little Singapore with Chia Yee (on the right) and Shirin (in the middle)... I reli reli thank them a lot for letting me sleep on their red sofa in the living room!! XD
We had Hainanese chicken rice...
Spiced beef rice...
And lamb curry! haha... guess which one I had?? guess correctly I give kiss kiss hug hug... =P
After eat till reli reli full, both them brought me to walk ard the city on a seriously hot day... haha... bhind me is the casino...
Then we walk walk walk and reach the city hall... it's so big lo... compared to Auckland's city hall... haha... but I like Auckland's city hall more... more chio mar (more stylish mar)...
This is Auckland city hall... vy small, I know... haha...
So, it's up to me to make the Brisbane city hall look more chio... haha... nice lei? no edit one lei XD
Ok... so, we went in the hall... turn right to this exhibition hall... they're having an exhibition on Ekka, a well-known festival in Queensland (I think la... smone likes this phrase a lot... hehehe =P)

Then, we went to ANZAC Square... It's a place to commemorate Australian and NZ-er soldiers that hav laid their lives during World War II...
Juz look at this... the fire, I heard la... will not fade even if it rains wor! geng lei... haha...
And then lei... we went to Botanical Gardens! hehe...
Well, spring juz only pass but look at the flowers... mayb Brisbane too hot dy.. all got sunburn... haha...
*singing* What a difference a day made... There's a rainbow before me....

Haha... after Botanical Gradens, we went back to the city by bus...
Look at this!! it's Bobbie Lee's shop... haha... XD
Then both Chia Yee and Shirin brought me ard the main street, Queen Street... found this... nice eh? the words read "How does Santa know what you want?"
Next one... Who helps Santa?
Then... Who organises all the presents?
And lastly, surely Santa don't fit all the presents on his sleigh at once? btw, most of the parts are moving one o...
This is the casino at night... the colours will change one o... haha... nice lei...
Beside the casino is the Brisbane River... across the river is the Brisbane wheel... nice lights at night eh?
Crossed the river and looking to the other side, we can see the city under the moonlit night... cool eh?
Beh tahan alrdy (cant stand it anymore)... take photo ar!! haha... nice right?
Oh, btw... 4got to intro... the place whr the Brisbane wheel is... I think it's called Southbank... then we walked along the river south-bound.... we reached this place... It's called Stanley's place I think... haha...
After that, we sat the ferry back home... haha... and guess what... Chia Yee made some chocolate mud cakes! haha... which later turn out to look more like cookie huat kway... hahaha... Fyi, huat kway is like the chinese sponge cake that is used for religious ceremonies la... haha... why I called it a cookie hwat kway lei? cuz the outside is crispy like cookie and the inside is soft like hwat kway... haha...

Ok, this is it for my first day in Brisbane la... slept quite late that nite... bout 1 to 2 am I guess... tiring o... but hey, rmb to come back again for more updates! c ya soon....
