Grafton Hall of Residence
The above photo shows the place where i stay... I believe Grafton Hall has been around since the 80's... well, pretty much of its interior is made of wood and the carpets are kinda old too... haha... but it's a nice place to live in... i stay on the first floor, which u can't see here b'cos it's being blocked by the dining hall (in front)... I'm stayin in a twin share room... and Gals out there who craze for korean guys, dun b jealous ya... haha... my roomie's a korean =P well, basically, Grafton Hall's fees are much cheaper and they provide better services compared to other hall of residences here la... b'cos it is being managed by a church... so, not profit-oriented... hehe... though it's far frm my uni compared to other halls but what to do?? aiks~
Btw, my hall oso has a hanging Spongebob!! haha... it muz have felt cold... it has been hanging there for quite some time... aiz~~
Well, my breakfast 2day was a lil' better as it is a weekend... I was wondering how come i can wake up so early 2day... mayb it's b'cos of the breakfast gua~ hmm... who knows?? haha...
A plant i found outside before goin out of Grafton hall compound...

Huia Residence
Huia residence is where Jack Tan and gang stay la... it's only across the street to where I stay and it's right beside the Auckland Hospital... so convenient... hehehe... i heard Huia once was an asylum... hmm~~ dunno how true izit...
Ok... now let me give some explanation... this is the cross junction i see everytime i wanna go uni... well, in the direction of A is Grafton Bridge... and B is Grafton road, which i owaz use when goin to uni... usually i run to uni la... cos owaz late one... erm... actually nearly late la... and then there's C, which i dunno leads to where also... haha... 2day, i use A... show u all Grafton Bridge...
I risked my life, ran to the middle of the road, like it's my ah gong's one... then take this photo... hehe... nice lei?? btw, this is Grafton Bridge... and it links Park road (bhind me) to Karangahape road or K' road... if u notice properly, there're protrusions on both sides of the bridge... well, at first i thought it's for design purposes... who knows it's b'cos this bridge used to be a hot spot for ppl to do bungee jumping without the rope... yea, that's y the authorities decided to put those thgs so that ppl won jump here anymore... i muz say, it makes the bridge looks nicer too...
If u click on these photos and see carefully, u can see that there're actually grafitis on the sign boards... Kiwis are really geng (skillful) lei!! haha... wonder how they climb up and do those stuffs... they muz be crazy! smore it's in the middle of a motorway... btw, this is the view from Grafton Bridge...
Well, i wont be walkin down K' road 2day but instead, i turn right into Symonds street, the street where my Uni is la... haha... The University of Auckland!! => this photo is Massey University House, which i dunno houses what kind of thgs... mayb it's just a house for guests gua...
Next, i pass by AUT's building... but it's not the main building la... I think it's the hall of residence... hmm~ btw, AUT stands for Auckland University of Technology...
U see this? haha... i came here for coffee once... and it's kinda xia sui (embarrasing) la... it's liddat... once my hall gave free coupons for us to have free drinks in this Starbucks... so, we went in a big big group... around 10 ppl liddat... so, went there get free drinks la... but i only took one... hehe... and smore we sat there til 10 plus at nite... ppl wan close shop oso cant... aiks~ but well, it's in a big grp la... so, it's still ok and quite fun too!!

Move further down, i see the University of Canterbury liaison office...
Finally!! after around 15-20 minutes walk... University of Auckland city campus!! yea... the place where i study now... I went around the uni this mornin and it was really quiet!
Here, u can see the Science centre (brown brown building) on the left and on the right (can't really see) is the School of Engineering building... hehe... if u dun know which one is it, it's the one pointed by the green arrow~~
Well, this is the School of Engineering building le... haha... it's vy easy to recognise b'cos there's a crane-like thing hanging... yeps~~
U know... when i took this photo, i really beh tahan liao!! (can't take it anymore)... and so, i did this (look below) -->
Haha...
Btw, the interior of the Engineering building is also quite stylish... this photo shows the foyer... and wat's wore is the Eng. building is situated next to the Faculty of Architecture... like they say, architects and engineers work closely together mar... haha... only too bad most of the time they quarrel one la... aiks~~ down the stairs is where the cafe is situated... and there are computer labs too...
This piece of "art" is found in the Eng. building... smtimes engineers can get artistic too, u know? haha... well, how we define art is different... and most of us may define art as smthg most ppl can't understand... this piece of work, i can't understand... so, i think it's art la... haha...
Across the street is the Kate Edger Information Commons or Students' Commons... It's a place where u can find the quad, a place whr u can find food, clubs and societies' rooms are here too, computer labs etc etc la... it's just like the heart of the uni~~
The side view of the students' commons
The quad on a quiet day...

On my way to uni everyday, i use Grafton Road... and i'd pass by this lil' hut here... haha... dun look down on this hut ar!! it's actually houses the Archaeological Research wor... hehe... it looks kinda old too la... and opposite it is the OGGB dy...
Nah... this one also famous la... it's Auckland U's clock tower... administrations, fees, scholarships... all here... and it's ancient too... it was built in the early 1920's... and it houses the former School of Arts and Commerce (when it was Auckland University College)... hehe... this building was designed by two guys, who are Roy Lippincott and Edward Billson... but i dunno and haven seen em b4 la... well, that's it for this post la... enjoy reading ar~

hmmm read some of your comments, have briefly browsed through the pictures. I came up with some comments... shud I write or shud I continue to fill in my psychiatry log book? But I can't resist the temptation to tell!!! XDXD The picture you took at the beach with the comment "I kinda like this photo~ =)"...the first thing that came into my mind was I thought that was my aunt posing cuz my aunt had a picture similar to that :P and the second thing that came to my mind was I thought the person in the picture was wearing a wig, that was to be blown away if the wind gets any stronger XP oh... i didn't know UoA taught you to pee on the roadside ;P hmmm.... some pics really reminds me of m'sia esp the chinese dishes..:9 buildings&scenery are quite nice too.... shouldn't you post a picture of yourself when you were about to wash your face before going to bed? XDXD
