Spring WON'T END that soon!

Hey guys!! I've been busy recently cuz of a few thgs... firstly, it's the Critical Thinking test 2 and next one is the UMSA AGM lo... haha... feelin happy that both have finished alrdy... now, can concentrate on my bloggie!! haha~ well, there are a few ppl who complain that my posts are vy long... so, this post, u all can look at photos only la.. I won't comment muchie ya... hehe...

Anw, the very nex day aftr one day in Palmy, I went to Wellington, the capital of New Zealand!! yay!! haha... went there with Pat, Nisha, May, Bart, Matt and Arvin...
Morning wake up, go toilet, this is what I saw... Guys rulez!!! muahahaha!!!!
Aftewr bfast, went out to bus stand... the sky's beautiful there in Palmy!
Our bus to Wellington... the gal sleeping doesn't come with the ticket that we paid for la... haha... even if got, i oso dun wan la!! =P

After 2 hours, finally reached Wellington at its train station... the bus stops juz outside of the station la... hehe...
Of course, if u got a train station, there's owaz this... Platform 9 3/4... haha...
And Bart suddenly felt magical and wanna go thru the wall... seems like Hogwarts rejected his application... haha...
Took this on the way to lunch... Matt with the Parliament bhind.... hehe...
While waiting for lunch, we played cards... FYI, all cards are provied by Bart... he vy geng lo!! haha... he knows card tricks and he brings cards evrywhr~ I think he's got acute addiction to cho dai di syndrome (acute addiction to Big Two syndrome) le la... haha!! =P

After lunch, went to book our accomodation... saw this in the isite (tourist info centre) office... haha... sexy lei~ I thought NZ only famous for All Blacks Rugby... mana tahu (who knows) oso famous for this kinda stuffs... hmm~~ interesting...

After walking for like 1 to 2 hours, we rested here... hehe... evryone's so tired of walking... From left, Arvin, Matt, Nisha, Pat and May..
Aftr a loooong day of walking, we went to have dinner!! haha... guess what we had? We had Malaysian food!! This here is smthg that shud b familiar to a Malaysian... hehe... It's called the roti tisu (direct translates to tissue bread)
The famous satay! expensive but worth it la! hehe... i think it's NZD 1.50 or 2 for a stick... which u can get for only RM 0.40 for one in Malaysia....

Nasi ayam rendang (Rendang chicken rice)... this is what i ate la... hehe... not that bad lo... but i like the satay more.... hehe... btw, juz like I said b4, anywhr Bart goes, he surely got cards one la... haha... top left corner got a deck of cards... saw it?
After that, we went back to backpackers and shower... then aftr that, we guys went to arcade!! hehe... played a few games and the gals stayed back to chit chat and study hard hard la... haha!! =P

Well, that's it for that day la... the nex day would b even more exciting le!! hehe... so, c ya and come back to check for updates yea!! c ya~~

Spring is STILL here!

Now now... I've been neglecting my blog la... past few days have been a lil' busy for me... hehe... and smore this friday got test... aiks~ gambatte!! later muz study study dy... haha... hopefully la... ok, back to business... hehe... rmb whr did i left off last time?? now, we'll see what i did the nex day ya...
Ok... mornin wake up... eat breakfast... thanx to Matt for the bread!! haha... and well, I had to climg out of the window cuz no keys... haha... feels kinda adventurous wor... but it's a ground floor room la =P OK... u muz b wonderin y got this picture of a sheep... basically, once i got our of the hostel, this is what i see la! haha... Massey University Palmerston North Campus is specially for agriculture, vet science and aviation (nth to do with chickens and ducks)...
This post, i dedicate to introducing Massey University la~ hehe.. Basically there're two campuses in Palmerston North (Palmy)... the one i am at is the Turitea campus lo... that's whr all the main buildings are la... so, this one here, with vy nice design is the Veterinary Teaching Hospital... It's a hospital for animals and whr ppl in white lab coats (Pat say they look reli yeng (stylo)) walk around... haha...
Beside the Vet teaching hosp, there's this building... also vy nice and modern... It's the Hopkirk Research Institute... hehe... shud b the place whr all the research on animals anatomy etc etc is done la... hehe... or mayb postgrad thgs r done here too...
Behold!! the tallest building in Massey University.... guess what's the name?? It's called the Vet Tower... haha... It's so tall that it makes the buildings surrounding it looks short... haha!! -_-||| but then I cant help but say it kinda looks like the sciences building in Auckland University lei... haha... soli ya~ i got no pictures of the sciences building in AU... hehe...
After that, we walked to the School of Psychology... where all the psycho ppl are... hmm~~ haha... and i noticed this... look at the green arrow... let's zoom in....
It's all ard the uni wor... i call it the guy girl assembly point... sounds dodgy?? haha... wonder what it really means.... hmm~~
Nex, we passed by the vet lake! hehe... it's not deep and got lotsa animals there too... hehe... which later made me thought of some delicacies... this pic here shows part of the lake... it's so nature lo!! haha...
Here, we've got Peking Ducks... erm... i mean ducks... hehe...
Here's a duck with its ducklings... cute eh?? *quack quack* i didn't get to snap the swan though... haha...
And i noticed smthg else too... in the lake, there're actually eels!! oh my... it's unagi, man!! haha... oops~ sry... hehe... anw, to have these kinda animals here are reli kinda strange lo...
This here nth special la... juz some bushes and soil... but pat said that it looks like a frozen chicken when there's snow... too bad it's spring le lo... no more snow... but no matter how i look here look there, doesn't reli look like friend chicken to me... eh? i mean chicken... hehe... -_-|| dun blame me mar... lunch is juz an hour away... hungry le =P
Other than the lake, animals and buildings, there are some even better thgs in Massey University... haha... no, not the japanese chicks (but well, that's considered smthg nice too.. hehehe..)... it's actually the sakura flowers... it was blooming alrdy when i got there... juz look at em... oh, my... so nice.... so pink... -_-|||
Ah ha!! Pat's faculty... welcome to the food technology building... btw, food tech is part of engineering too... hehehe... i dun reli dare to take pics inside this building la... but there are lotsa weird machines used to process food lo... hehe... it's juz like a big big factory cum lab inside... lotsa stainless steel, computers, test tubes etc etc...
After walking a while, Pat brought me to this place... nice eh?? it's a corridor leading frm food tech to the engineering building... hehe... i din reli take any photo of the engineering faculty lo... aiks~ too bad huh? anw, according to some ppl this corridor's vy nice... haha... and got the wood smell lo...
This is the only thg that is engineering that i took la~ haha... i call it the hanging tricycle... cool eh? haha...
And this... this is.... I dunno... paiseh (sorry) har!! hehe... =P but i hav a feeling it has smthg to do with milk...
Then, while walking and walking, we met Nai Chen and John (Pat's seniors)... they brought me ard for a while... hehe... went into a food processing lab... saw this.... they actually etach students how to make beer... and evry apparatus is proveided... cool eh?! haha... omagine drinking beer during lab sessions... haha...
Then, i saw this... shouldn't it be Rapeseed Oil?? -_-|| Oilseed Rape sounds dodgy.... or should it be rape oil seed? aiks~ haha...
Next stop, the Recreation Centre... hehe... it was voted the best gym in the whole area of Manuwatu... sounds kinda gud lo... and the facilities and equipments are quite new too... haha...

Then, we head towards Pat's hostel... hehe... I think it's Kairanga hall... izit har? hehe... 4got dy la... the name all weird weird one... she's actually waiting for the malay girls to go back to their rooms... hehe... they cant let guys see them without their tudung (head scarf) one lo... if not, gotta marry them le... haha... juz kiddin la! =P
Then aftr Pat got some thgs ready, we went to eat lunch... haha... This is the dining hall le... it's like a 2 to 3 minutes walk frm Pat's hall of residence...
Next thg we do? continue walking lo... haha... This place is the Concourse... it's juz like the Quad in my uni la... hehe... this shop, MUSA is the Massey University Students' Association... It's a shop whr u can get basically evrythg u nid in the uni (wonder if they've got condoms too... hmm~~ haha!)... and Pat said that this shop kill ppl set fire one lo... it means sells thgs vy expensive in hokkien... haha...
Then we proceed to the Oval... i like this place a lot a lot!! it's juz a field with a picnic table on the left-hand side of the photo... hehe... nice place to study and play sports...
This big big building here is the School of Business le... hehe... nice eh? smore right in front is a field dy... vy gud environment to study la...
After that, we went up the hill back to where I stay there (Bindaloe hall)... hehe... went to get a bus card and next to Amy's place to have some egg tart!! hehe... I thought only Ipoh got nice egg tarts... who knows ppl who come frm Ipoh oso can do such nice egg tarts... haha... but then there's stil room for improvement oso la... hehehe...

Well, basically that's about all for Massey University Pamerston North campus la! hehe... nex up is the City le... hehehe...

The sign reads "The Square"... the first thg that came to my mind was "Har?! does this look like a SQUARE??? Art is becoming harder and harder to understand"... haha... but actually that's not the square la... the square is actually a place... hehe...
Oh.. have i told u that there're ducks all over the city too? haha... this duck here is juz like warning us not to go near it... if not, it'll jump~~ -_-|| peking duck with the sauce....... crispy skin.... oops~ hehe....
When there're ducks (especially male and female ones), there are sure to be ducklings... haha... cute right??
Then i saw these.... it reminded me of the chairs in Sibu, Sarawak... haha~~ i took a photo the other time...

Then, we went walking ard... hehe... this photo looks like a regular university student at a university, dun u think so??
Then we walked further and i saw this!! at that instance, it reminded me of what i had learned... haha... Materials science... this is called the brittle fracture in a ductile material... shud b due to the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature... oooo~~ pro lei... hehehe =P
Next up, we went to a Countdown mart... hehe... i saw this... and it seems that Paris Hilton decided to sell some foodstuffs... haha... and it's so so expensive lo!! juz like Hilton hotels, they also have the 5 star succulent lamb ham!!
After we bought some snacks, we went to eat Thai food... hehe... and lemme introduce the latest on the menu!! they call it the traffic light series curry... they have green, red and yellow curry...
In the end, i decided on Tom Yam la... hehe... cuz i was too hungry, i ate a mouth first before taking a shot la.. hehe... so, got a hole le =D
Oh and Pat bought some chewables to eat... hehe... this looks kinda dodgy right? even she oso paiseh (shy) liao... hahaha!!

Well, aftr that, i just went around the city in a car la... hehe... Sony brought me ard... and then we head back to the hostel.... and that's it for 2day la... haha... I'll continue my last part some other day... for now, i wanna go eat lunch le!! yay!! finally.... hehehe... c ya all soon~
