Along the way to Palmerston North, there's this Geothermal station... cool eh? oh no la... actually shud b quite hot... haha!!
Other than that, there's also the Lake Taupo (bout 616 sq. km)... it's actually nearly as big as Singapore (bout 707.1 sq. km) wor!! haha... so big neh...
NZ cant lack of sheeps, pine-shaped trees, clouds and mountains one la... haha... these are some of the beautiful thgs bout NZ lo... dun u think so??
This was on Desert Road... the surroundings reli vy vy dry.. and in the distance, there're nice mountains for skiing... I'm guessing it's Mt. Ruapehu... hehe...
After 9 plus hours on the bus, finally, the city of Palmerston North!! haha... sit til vy sien dy.. finally can come down... now, lemme intro a bit... on the left, sitting down one is Sony and right one is Bart... The one with two thumbs up with his face hidden one is Matt while the two gals who got their faces halved one is Nisha on the left and Shirlene on the right... The one with only an arm visible is May.... haha...Something interesting was actually goin on here... both of em are tryin out for the Big Bowl Noodle challenge!! The boss of the Malaysian restaurant actually asked them to try see can finish 1.3kg of noodles (bout 6 normal bowls plus) in 10 mins anot... This pic here is b4 they start eating... hehe...

Pat told me it's a miracle that Jeffery came out wor!! haha... and the others say he gave me face... wa~ i felt so honoured actually.... hehehe...

15 minutes later.... unfortunately they didn't get to finish the noodles... haha... but they did a great job alrdy la!! look at Bart's bowl... he actually finished 4 equivalent bowls!! this here is what's left lo...
My welcome gift from Matt... he actually asked me to finish it... aiya~ I cant la... haha... at that time I alrdy had my dinner le... I ordered Ja Jang Myun... reli nice lo! haha... btw, this bowl here was Sony's...After dinner, we went to play pool in Mr Cue... again, it's a miracle that Jeffery followed and played too!! haha... for those who know Jeffery wil know why am I so excited about it la... hehe... then nex went back to their hostel... I stayed in Matt's room... I tell u his room so so big lo!! haha... so comfortable too... Thanx to Matt ar!! hehe... then we watched Mummy 3 in his room too... Well, that's it for the first nite i reached Palmy... hehe... c ya soon...

LOL.. eh, the job i have now is related to NZ de, and i had just recently posted something to Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch! lol.. my boss gonna go there have some meeting la.. and now you are like showing me the place.. so good lei.. so beautiful.. next time i ask boss take me there.. Do you consider hitch-hiking? I've one friend who previously stayed in NZ. He said it's fun to hitch-hike there...

I suggest nex yr u shud come here... summer and spring are the best times to come... autumn and winter got a lot of rain one... if wanna ski then come winter la... here seems cheaper than australia... btw, i got a 2-wk break... tat's y first week can travel while 2nd week have to study study liao~~ hehehe...
to sihan: Actually I nvr consider hitch-hike b4 wor~ dun reli feel it's safe la... but i heard some of my frens doin it too... hehe... anw, i rather rent a car oso la... more convenience... but who knows mayb nex time i get to hitch-hike lei?? haha...
to limichi: Oh not reli la... NZ got two bus services only... not like M'sia got so many of em... haha... so, not all busses in NZ are same as one day only got one or two journeys only... M'sia one day can have til 10 or more one... other than the busses, the bus driver oso i think was the same one... tat time i go Rotorua and this time come back Auckland one is the same one lo... smore is a female... geng lei~ haha...
to angry julia^^: U wan ya?? hehe.. nex time come dy i bring u go there la... hehe... i'm sure u'll enjoy it... I wanna try bungy jump, off road adventure and so many other stuffs... hehehe... but most importantly, i wanna go back and eat eat eat!!!!
si han, hitch hiking nowadays is so different, at least in Aust, you may not mind sitting people's car, but people mind! lol.. because crime rate is increasing everywhere la..
